Hello to all the other military spouses out there! My name is Crystal, I am 29 years old, and have been married for 6 years to my husband. He has 17 years in service, split between active duty and national guard and is in the infantry. I have a 17 year old stepson, a son about to turn 4, a 15 month old son, and I am currently 7 months pregnant with … another son.
I am a stay at home mom and a freelance worker. I write and also do admin work on a freelance basis. I love doing it because I get to stay home with my kids and still work and make my own money.
I hope the spouse community here picks up soon, it will be nice to have other people to talk to.

HELLO TO ALL!! I'm Kathleen Starbuck. I'm a USMC wife married to my husband SSGT Lincoln Starbuck for nearly 8 years. We have three children. Johnathon 5, Anna 3, & Katie 1 1/2. I'm hoping to be able to shed some light on what its like to be a military spouse. Maybe help the civilian world to gain a better understanding of what our world is like, as well as provide a little insight for the newcomer spouses out there.
My husband began his military career 15 years ago as a "ground pounder" in the Army, and has spent the last 7 years in the United States Marine Corps. Its not an easy life, but its one I wouldn't trade for anything! I'm a teacher by trade, teaching language and literacy to kindergarten through fifth grade. I'm currently a stay at home mom, and focus all my energy on my kids and teaching them.
Back to back one year gone 6 months home deployments are what led us to choose our current semi-non-deployable duty station here in Albuquerque as permanent personnel for the USMC Reserve presence for the state of New Mexico. For both my husband and myself anything and everything we like and want to do has to do with spending the most possible time together and with our kids.
Writing here allows me the opportunity talk with friends, make new friends, and expand my military family. I'm really having fun with it!

Greets All,
My husband and I are stationed at Ft Polk, Louisiana. He's currently serving his 5th tour in the Sandbox and I'm unpacking the house as we just pcs'd here…lol. He has 14 years in the AD Army…six more and we get to get our little piece of land and retire.
I have two Sons, one is a Police Officer in Wisconsin and my youngest is in college taking Criminal Justice soon to be following in big brother's footsteps. My husband has two children from a previous marriage. A Daughter in college for Engineering and a Son still in highschool.
Currently we have furry kids living with us…two cats and a dog all of which are rescues.
I'm very lucky in that my Husband supports my writing 110% and always has. So I'm able to spend time concentrating on that.
Life is never boring at our house..but I wouldn't trade it for the world. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. LOL
Looking forward to writing here at Milpages and getting to know everyone.
